Every time we perform, we sing our hearts out—whether we are performing at the Hemmens Center with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, at Bluff City Cemetery on Memorial Day, at Elgin City Council’s New Citizen Recognition Ceremony, at Gail Bordon Public Library’s Sunday Concert Series, or at Elgin Community College where we are an in-residence ensemble.

Longtime donor Jeanne Sigman and members Gail and Dennis Rossow have shown their hearts for EMC by collectively contributing $5,000 toward the challenge goal of raising $10,000 over the next six weeks.

Now it’s your turn to show your heart for EMC by contributing to our Have a Heart for EMC fundraising campaign. Together we can raise an additional $5,000.

Your contribution—whether large or small—offsets the increasing costs associated with creating and performing innovative choral music that entertains, educates, and inspires. For example, oratorio scores can cost upwards of $1,500 per concert, while performing with a symphony can cost greater than $25,000 and hiring one soloist can cost greater than $750.

We need your gift to continue to deliver the excellence in choral programming that you’ve come to expect.

Showing your heart for EMC is easy—you can donate directly through this page. Together we can reach our goal of $10,000!

With gratitude,

The Members of the Elgin Master Chorale

P.S. EMC has been a cultural cornerstone of Elgin and the Fox Valley for 76 years because of generous donors like you. From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate you!
