With her outgoing personality and witty demeanor, Louise added spice to the chorale for 57 years. We are sad to say that when rehearsals begin in September, it will be the first time since 1966 that Louise won’t be taking her place with the sopranos.
Louise is moving to Colorado. We wish her all the best as she relocates to her new home. With her passion for choral music and singing, we are sure that a chorus in her new hometown will soon be blessed with her beautiful voice.
We are grateful to Louise for her lengthy service to both the Elgin Choral Union and EMC. Her able leadership on the Board and as President guided the organization through many changes during her tenure. We are better for her involvement.
Whether Louise was hosting a fundraiser at her lovely home or gathering with her colleagues at Mel’s Pizza after rehearsals, she was the life of the party. She is a friend to many current and former members and will be sorely missed.
